Top 1% ACT Instructor Ms. Lahari Ramini

Hi, my name is Lahari Ramini. I am a 99th percentile scorer on both the SAT and the ACT. On the SAT, I have scored a 1520. I have scored a 34 composite, making me a 99th percentile scorer on ACT, and I have received a 36 on all sections. In addition, I am a National Merit Finalist, so I have a 99th percentile score on the PSAT, and I have received several 5s on my AP tests. Because of my test scores, I won over $300,000 in scholarships. I was also able to gain admission into a Top 10 ranked university. I am currently a student at Northwestern University, majoring in neuroscience with a possible minor at the School of Education and Social Policy and journalism. I started my test preparation journey during my sophomore year of high school. I was once a Prep Expert® student, so I know that this process works! I have spent the past 3 years tutoring English, ACT, PSAT, biology, and chemistry, through Wyzant, a local company, and various nonprofits. I was able to gain valuable experience, and I learned how to inspire students and keep them engaged through their test preparation journey. When I'm not tutoring or studying diligently (which takes up most of my time), you can find me doing work for a nonprofit, baking, watching yet another TED talk, and learning to play the ukulele. I wholeheartedly believe that if a student is motivated to do the work, they can achieve their desired score, and I will do my part to make it happen!
