Through his I learned the value of studying and preparing myself no matter how hard the prep is, now I’m better prepared going into my sophomore year and know how to make myself successful for the SAT.

I had Ilia as my teacher, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this: He was one of the best teachers I've ever had, if not the best. He is truly a rockstar but without the guitar. I was fortunate enough to have Ilia as my teacher for the PSAT 4-Week Course and multiple hours of tutoring. Before working with Ilia, I had been scoring in the upper 1400s range on my practice tests, unable to get over the hump into the 1500s range. My biggest struggle was always with English, specifically with grammar. Ilia's wealth of knowledge, particularly in semi-colons, colons, idioms, and minor more technical aspects of vocabulary, was a game-changer for me. Here are the results of my six sat practice tests while working with Ilia. I got a 1600, a 1590, two 1580s, one 1560, and one 1550. These are the total results of all practice tests I took while working with Ilia. My scores represent, on average, a 100-point increase from the high 1400s that I was scoring. On the practice tests for math, I got four 800s and two 780s. For English, I got two 800s, one 790, one 780, one 770, and one 760. These scores and results speak volumes for Ilia as a teacher, Prep Expert as a company, and founder Shaan Patel. The classes and tutoring were perfect in terms of structure. Ilia ensured the class was engaging while providing insightful information and strategies, always answering every question precisely, as needed, to understand the material better.

I just had my first class with PrepExpert, PSAT prep. I had Ilia, who made class fun! He made us send reactions, cracked jokes, and made something that would have been boring into a fun class. If you miss a class due to unforeseen circumstances, don't worry – there is a recording of every class from beginning to end. If you are a parent looking for extra practice for your child's SATs, this is an outstanding option as it has many features and has helped me so much. Though it may be expensive, it is a worthwhile investment in preparing for your or your child's future. It is costly but is a good use of money as it prepares you or your child's skills for the SATS.

Prep Expert was extremely helpful. The strategies, reviews, and homework were crucial in my score increase, and the classes were very beneficial. My teacher, Miguel Chavira, created a very supportive environment, encouraging us to do our best and I was excited to do my best. I love prep-expert so much. This experience has been so impactful and Emma made it very interactive and fun. One of my favorite memories was when she advised us to pretend we were the kid from Polar express when answering the reading questions. I found it so funny that I almost fell off my chair. The whole chat was exploding with laughter and we all really bonded. Even though we live in various states, I really felt like I found a strong community within these lessons. Emma is like a big sister every weekend, I really hope she remains with the program and maybe one day I can see her in person and give her a huge thank you. She has given the best advice, I could ask for and has significantly helped my studying for the SAT. Her skills and knowledge about the SAT is excellent and engaging. The course is planned out really well and I always looked forward to the seminars. Whenever I had a tough week at school, I would remind myself that we had test prep this weekend and I would instantly become excited. My instructor, Emma, was very patient and knowledgeable and an amazing teacher. She answered questions thoroughly and made sure that everyone understood the concepts before moving on. Emma explained her work/thoughts very well and in a systematic way, helping me to better understand the reason why a certain answer choice was correct. The Prep Expert curriculum was comprehensive and covered every area of the SAT exam. I especially valued learning about the strategies to better approach the SAT, such as BOSS and the words to avoid in answer choices. Overall, I feel a lot more confident and prepared for the SAT after taking a Prep Expert course.

I signed up for the 6 week SAT flagship course with my instructor Emma. She was really kind and addressed any difficulties I had with certain problems, and she overall taught the course really well. My main struggles were with English, such as punctuation and passage comprehension, but through the untimed modules and practice tests, I feel much better about my SAT status than I had before I started prep expert. This course is very practical and allows you to learn and review an abundance of information without overwhelming you. There are breaks every hour that allow you to relax and they ease you into the work, rather than just planting it all on you at once. My instructor’s name was Miguel Chavira and he did an amazing job in helping me gain insight on what to look out for when taking the sat. after the first week of the course i quickly boosted my score from over 100 points and i kept improving from there. i really liked the ability to ask questions and receive feedback immediately and i feel like it greatly helped me learn from my mistakes. i believe Miguel had an amazing teaching style as he was very understanding, had a great personality and was very professional throughout the entirety of the course.

I’m very impressed with how similar the practice tests seem to the actual SAT. Every practice for the homework was aimed to improve each aspect for skills needed on the test and the class was very focused. I really learned a lot from the class. I had instructor David Hill, and he gave some very helpful tips on top of the lecture. Any questions that we had, he always answered. I took the 6-week Prep Expert Course and it changed my life, not only to mention my score. I had the instructor Tessa Gerbert and she was not on TREMENDOUSLY helpful when I was confused or didn't understand a concept, but she was so down-to-earth, fun to learn with, and extremely engaging. I took the SAT once before (I plan to take it again due to my completion of the course) and I got a 1250. While that can be viewed as a great score, and it is, I strongly wanted to get to at least a 1500/1550. I was really discouraged and disappointed when, previous to the course, my SAT results just seemed to be at a standstill. Prep Expert changed that. I got over 200+ points HIGHER on my practice test and scored a 1440 before the course was even finished! Tessa was so amazing and influential in leading me to success, and although I've improved so much already, there is still work to be done. My instructors for this course were Isabella Raicu and her Teacher assistant Jameson. They were great instructors and they were interactive and made the zoom calls engaging. They also gave great tips and made sure to answer all of the questions that the class asked and made sure we understood them. The instructor also taught the course material in a way that was easy to utilize. She incorporated breaks which were also helpful for digesting the information we just learned.

My instructor was Isabella Raicu and she is such a enthusiastic person. I could tell from the start that she is truly passionate about what she does. I liked that she helped guide us/me through the course swiftly and effectively. I learned so many new things that school hasn't taught me yet. One thing I will say though (maybe it is just me), there was a lot of work after the class on Thursday's. Taking a test every week was a lot for me and on top of that the homework due before the next class. It was extremely stressful to me, however I know that this course is meant for ambitious, driven people. In the end the course was good and I loved the instructor.

Isabella and Jameson are exceptional ACT tutors who transformed my test preparation experience. They taught insightful strategies that boosted my scores significantly. My instructor has been David Hill. I am somewhat disappointed with the tutoring received from him. He dashes all over the powerpoint almost without making explanations of his own. Moreover he arrives 9-10 minutes late to every class and does not compensate afterwards. Nevertheless I must say the resources of prep expert are very good and help to improve your score.

My instructor was Shaan Patel. He was amazing, very engaging and he was good at communicating with the students beyond just spitting out SAT knowledge. He would be personable and talk about his own personal experiences to help us. My score went from a 1400 to a 1470 with the course (and I do believe I could've gotten more if I had done more of the practice material, but due to personal matters I wasn't able to do all of it. For most students my situation should not be an issue). I really appreciated the vast amounts of practice material available to us as well as the tips on where to find yet more practice. Unlike many other courses, PrepExpert readily admitted any limitations in its own course instead of trying to claim that it could do literally everything. It was really refreshing. The practice tests were also almost identical to the official Bluebook one, which was really good for preparations. Overall, a very comprehensive and awesome course that was much more personable and had much more prep material than previous preparation courses I've taken.

Suzu Paudel was a great instructor in helping me understand different tips to further enhance my PSAT exam score. The PSAT is very different than other standardized tests done in my prior high school experience, but gaining a grasp on the different strategies has been beneficial in increasing my practice exam scores from what they were previously.

Even though I had to wake up early for this, I really liked this class because I improved my score. I went from a 1040-1180 in 2 tests and I am hoping to improve more after going through more SAT practice tests. The teachers were energetic, engaging and well spoken. I think the information presented could be very helpful. Our original ACT class was cancelled days before it was scheduled. Unfortunately the only other class was a SAT class. It did not work out well for my daughter and in hindsight we wish we had just been reimbursed or waited for another ACT class that would have worked with her schedule. Our son also took ACT pretty Prep Expert and has done well. Not sure if our other children will attend or not.

Prior to this course, my SAT score was 1180. I signed up hoping to see some improvement, but doubting the 200 point guarantee. By the last practice test, I had improved astonishingly: my score is now 1490! I honestly did not think that was possible. The homework assignments helped me to really familiarize myself with the types of problems I will encounter on the SAT, and I have increasingly become super comfortable with doing the math problems. I found that the strategies taught were very helpful and I've noticed myself using them almost subconciously during the practice tests. I also really appreciated my instructor's (Ilia Kolmagorov) effort to answer every question, no matter how small. Overall, Prep Expert was very worth the money and time! I would highly recommend.

The name of my instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov. I just wanted to say that this class has really changed how I view the SAT. Before this course I did not fully comprehend how important the SAT actually is. Additionally I also did not believe in myself; I did not believe that I was sufficiently smart enough to get a good test grade. However now that I have completed the course, I realized that after everything that I learned I am prepared to get a good score on the SAT. Prep expert is a really amazing course, the tips are truly amazing and my instructor, Dr. Shaan patel was amazing at explaining concepts and went really in depth. My instructor, Dr. Shaan Patel was absolutely phenomenal. The overall course was LIFE CHANGING. I recently enrolled in an online SAT Founder Course class, and it has been a game-changer in my test preparation journey. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering all sections of the SAT—Math, Evidence-Based Reading, and Writing—with interactive lessons that keep students engaged. Dr. Shaan Patel is not only knowledgeable but also experienced, providing invaluable insights and personalized feedback. There was also a instructor on the side (Nishi Patel) which answered many questions and gave helpful tips throughout the course. There were many good strategies to work with (my absolute favorite BOSS [fricking fantastic]). With flexible scheduling options and access to recorded sessions, I could easily fit study sessions into my busy lifestyle. The class includes extensive practice resources, such as a large bank of practice questions and regular full-length practice tests, and the newly introduced hard-math-quizzes(life savers), which helped me build stamina and get accustomed to the test's timing. The various students in the class I took made it seem more lively. I would constantly see subtle jokes and helpful tips from each of the students which made the class feel as if I was actually there in person. The dedicated support team is always available to assist. Most importantly, many students, including myself, reported significant score improvements and boosted confidence after completing the course. Many students claimed to have a 200-250+ score improvement. I had a 300+ by going from a 1270 to 1570 score improvement. Almost forgot, they have office hours which allows students to go sessions outside of the course hours with other instructors for additional help which is amazing. Overall, this online SAT class exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their SAT preparation and achieve their desired score!

Dr.Shaan Patel. I really like the startegies taught in this course. It really help improve my scores up to 100 points and also changed the way to work some problems. For example the BOSS strategy, which really helped with my reading and writing score, which I sucked at, and helped me with usinf less time on lot of these readings problems. I also liked Dr. Shaan because he teached the course very well and he made it very easy to understand these strategies to effectively use them in the SAT to increase our score. I also liked the hard math quizzes, which helped me keep practicing the math strategies, which helped me increase my math score.

Walking into the 7-week founder course, I was especially weak with the Reading/Writing section of the SAT and did not expect to make nearly as much progress as math. However, this course changed my mindset on how to view English questions, making it much easier to complete these 2 modules on the SAT than if I were to just do practice questions again and again. The difference with Prep Expert is that it does not just teach the content of the SAT, but how to approach each problem and change your habits in a way that can make you a subconsciously much better test taker. Dr. Shaan Patel was a great instructor and was able to slowly explain each strategy during the live session; this really helped me to see real improvements because I could easily ask a question whenever I had one and I did not have to wait to clarify my questions regarding the strategies that we are taught to better approach the test. Even in the math section, which I was fairly confident with walking into the source, I learned about just how much I was missing in the Hard Math Quizzes. What caused my math score to improve the most was getting 60-70% on the hard math quizzes, watching Dr. Patel walked through the hardest questions step by step in the live course, and went back through the hard math quizzes. These questions model some of the hardest questions on SAT Math module two, and I would have no idea how to even approach these questions if it wasn’t for Dr. Patel’s teaching regarding changing habits to change our scores. While the course was grueling and the material was tough, the live session made it so much more useful and genuinely effective in improving my score.

My teacher was Dr. Patel have greatly enjoyed this course and I am glad I took it. I have seen a great improvement and have been able to use the the skills in actual school as well. The math skills have helped me have a better approach to a problem and my comprehension has gotten much better. I greatly enjoyed my 6-Week Flagship SAT prep course with Prep Expert. My instructor, Tessa Gebert, was an amazing teacher, always enthusiastic and excited to teach us strategies each class. She gave many insightful tips on certain questions, such as showing us how questions involving studies include key aspects of methods, purpose, and conclusions. Additionally, the strategies I learned were incredibly beneficial. I found the “fake interest” reading strategy very helpful in allowing me to answer reading questions quicker. My only suggestion for this course overall would be that Prep Expert includes more questions from the most recent Practice SAT exams from college board. I found that most of the example questions to demonstrate strategies and Prep Expert practice exam questions were from College Board exams 1 through 4, which I had already completed. I would have liked it if I had seen newer questions from College Board Practice exams 5 and 6 so that I wouldn’t remember the answers from previous questions, which would give me a more accurate representation of my performance on practice exams.

I had Tessa as my instructor and she was so helpful. She really helped me learn and taught it in a way i could understand. I wish she could be one of my teachers in school because the school system really needs more teachers like her. she is full of fun positive energy and is very interactive with the class. She really helped me remeber the strategies and even sung little songs to help us remember. She went over everthing very throughly and helped me increase my understanding in the sat not with just the content but overall knowlege as well. This course has been extensive and intense. I would not recommend this course to someone who has a lot of other responsibilities within their school and personal lives. Overall, it has challenged me. I didn’t see an improvement of my score within the practice tests compared to my previous SAT score, so I hope that doesn’t happen on the actual test.

My instructor was Miguel Chavira. He was very nice and made sure to answer everyone's questions. He did very well using our time for each meeting and even put together a very helpful and useful review to finish the course, which I will be using often. We covered all topics and materials in all subjects down to timing and accurately solving each problem. The course snowballed very quickly in work to-do. Time-management was really important in the course and without it there did not seem a way to catch up. Logging into meetings was simple and easy and the help contacts were quick and very supportive. The practice tests and homeworks were very accurate. All the material provided is so useful in answering every single problem. I wish there was more in depth explanation behind each problem. Some questions we reviewed were skimmed thorugh quickly. Overall I'd say the course was very helpful. I highly recommend Prep expert for the material provided. The textbooks and tests can be used very efficiently. I wished there was a little more engagement throughout the course and during meetings.

Over this course, while I have felt extremely overwhelmed with learning new concepts and working towards my ACT goal, one thing that has remained constant throughout the course is Miguel's support of my learning! Whether I have a question on how I should maintain a positive mindset while working or on how to find a specific value in a chord, I have always had all of my questions answered in depth and extremely clearly.

Miguel was very helpful and always was very attentive to our class. He was always open to answering questions. I really liked how he would often ask us if he needed to slow down or speed up with certain material. I also felt like we were never rushed, and he would take his time with material he felt like we were struggling with. Overall it was a great experience, and I learned a lot while taking the class.

Not useful information, tips your child gets already from school teachers when preparing for the PSAT. Don’t waste your money. This is a gimmick and they tell you that buy now of the price goes up but they have the offer every month!

Prep Expert was a great way to study for the SAT. The entire course was very well planned and structured. My instructor Kevin worked very hard and even searched the entire College Board so he could put forth the most optimal practice. He put together a hard math quiz every week to help us master the math section. Along with this he gave us his email which I believe was very kind, and he always gave very thorough and detailed answers to my question via email, even outside of the course hrs. Aside from the course, Prep expert was very helpful in the process of signing up with an extremely helpful support team. I believe Prep Expert is the way to go in SAT studying and would recommend them to anyone looking for a structured SAT course with fantastic instructors.

I am very satisfied by this SAT course taught by Miguel. My practice test score has improved by 200 points just as expected. However, I haven't taken the real SAT test but even if I don't do well on that, there are tips I've learned in this course that I have already applied in this school year and I am very happy about the results I've gotten.

I think the class was well executed. Mr. Ilia was very engaging and created an enjoyable environment even though preparing for the SAT can be tedious. Each class I learned more and more and gradually got better. My math score finally reached the 700’s and my english score to the upper 600’s. Kevin Parrish is an amazing teacher and helped me prepare a TON for the SAT. I greatly appreciate his time and commitment to all of the students, and trying to help everyone improve as much as possible. He is very responsive via email, during office hours, etc. and it helps me, and others improve significantly. Starting out, I took had taken 1 SAT test before this class and missed numerous reading/writing questions, and even though I only missed 1 on math, I got a 1340. With Kevin's expert teaching and questions specifically focused to help people improve on their weaknesses, I was already able to improve my overall score by almost 200 points throughout this course and plan to really focus on the little things I can still improve. Kevin is overall an amazing instructor and made the whole experience very energetic and exciting.

To start off, as soon as I joined Mr. Parrish's class I felt like I was in the right class surrounded with the best instructor and peers. From the first class, the class was so chatty and interactive which made it an even easier environment to efficiently learn in. I would typically think of tutoring to be boring, but as soon as I entered the class I just knew that I would be in a great learning space. Specifically, Mr. Parrish wasn't just a tutor to me, he felt more like a friend I was learning from. This is because it was easy to connect with Mr. Parrish and he made sure we were locked in when we needed to be, all in the kindest ways possible. I was unsure of joining PrepExpert at first, but I am extremely glad that me and a couple of my friends made the decision to join because it led me to learn tons of new things that will be greatly helpful on my SAT journey. The peers I had were very helpful too, we all clicked from the first class and were a great group of classmates as we now shared our personal information and hope to keep the connections forever. Mr. Parrish went as far as telling us that he would answer our emails even after the class ends, which made me very happy because I am taking the October SAT and having insight closer to my exam from a professional would be amazing. I saw many improvements in my 10th grade PSAT score to my PrepExpert practice test, this made me feel motivated to learn and showed me the effectiveness of taking a SAT course with PrepExpert. I personally felt the course was very educational, fun, and well-taught because of how it served as great learning. One key thing to wanting to learn, is having a great tutor. I was skeptical about joining PrepExpert before I joined because it was online and I felt that I wouldn't feel like wanting to learn, but when I actually took a few classes I learned that this wasn't the case and that learning online is as effective as in-person, if you have a great learning environment.

I like that he made the class very fun and that he would give us ten minute breaks every hour. He would make fun challenge problems for us to solve and he goes over any concepts really well.

Even as an online class with over 50 people taking the course, he made the course engaging and fun with his enthusiastic attitude every week. My score improve 300 points over the 8 week capstone course. Mr. Parrish even met with me outside of the class 1 on 1 just to make sure I was feeling confident in the Reading and Writing section which I felt was my weakest section. I really appreciate Mr.Parrish for everything that he taught me!

I learned the more practice problems you do, the less confusing the SAT will be because you will have seen the types of problems before. In that case, the practice gets a five out of five. But I found the actual classes to not be as helpful as they should’ve been. Not that they were poor, but I found them to be slightly unnecessary. We did indeed learn some helpful strategies in the classes, but while going over homework problems, (witch is the majority of the class) it can really get messy and confusing. Either the instructor could go too fast, the writing can get all over the place, or the actual problem is difficult for one to understand. It’s difficult to do this online as everyone has different learning habits. Therefore, it’s difficult to engage just via a chat box. Online classes are never going to be perfect so I do not fully hold that against Prep Expert. The classes are three hours long with two ten minute breaks in between, and I found that to be very challenging, as it’s just way too long. I would’ve preferred more classes per week with shorter runtimes. I do understand the challenge of instructors availability though. I really do think you’re paying for the amount of practice problems that you really can’t get anywhere else. However, at the end of the day, I would recommend Prep Expert to anybody looking to improve their SAT score.

My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov. My score significantly improved over 300 points, from the prep expert, and blue book practice tests. Ilia was an outstanding, and funny instructor. He always kept me engaged with the lessons and he gave great advice, for the SAT, and steps about the college application process. Additionally, my favorite part about each class were the strategies that I learned for math, reading, and writing. These strategies helped me to improve my score, and gave me further insight into the SAT, in terms of approaching different topics. Over all, Prep Expert was a fantastic resource to improving my SAT scores, and I have the confidence that the preparation and practice from Prep Expert will help me achieve my goal of achieving the best SAT score for myself, and leading me to go on and achieve my life goals.

I really like how the homework equips me to do better on the tests and how we go over them in class. The push to do the homework and the practice tests has improved my score and my teacher Isabella was very good at answering all our questions. One thing I think would make the experience a little better is if there weren’t such long breaks which would make it a more compact, two hour session instead of a more drawn out three hour one.

My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov. In a practice psat that I took before I got a 1320. Now in the sat I'm getting in the 1500s range. I liked the hard math quizzes and the vocabulary tests as they were very helpful. I think that one thing that prep expert should add is a hard writing quiz. I personally have to improve more on English so maybe starting the hard writing question slides earlier in th3 course would have been more helpful. Other than that the class was good.

My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov, and he was a really good teacher these past 8 weeks! He was able to engage the class very well despite the lack of interaction with students over the Zoom webinar. Although the classes are pretty long (3 hours two days a week!), Ilia was able to keep the class interesting with his fun humor. Apart from this, he was great at explaining all the SAT content, from Math to English. His process of working through every question was so helpful and definitely helped all of us to understand better. I enrolled in Prep Expert's All-Access Plan because I needed help to improve my SAT score. Since I aspire to attend one of the prestigious United States Service Academies, I will need a very competitive SAT score. My first score was a 1340 on the paper SAT last year but on my first Digital SAT, I got a 1420! The next one after that...I got the exact same score, 1420, even after studying on my own for weeks. That's when I realized I needed professional tutoring, and my parents signed me up for Prep Expert. On all my SATs, my English score was in the mid-700s, but my Math score was much worse. No matter what I tried, I could not get past 700 on the Math section, even on Bluebook practice tests. My biggest problem was the hard math questions at the end of Module 2. That's why when I started this program 8 weeks ago, my focus was more on my Math, not really on my English. However, in the past 8 weeks, my total score has improved significantly, both in the Math and English sections! One of the most helpful parts of the Prep Expert strategy is the repetition of many, many practice problems. This made me much better on the practice tests. As part of the homework every week, I had to take a full-length SAT practice test. Because of everything I had cumulatively learned from my classes and homework, my scores on the practice tests went up every week. I even got a 1590 on one of them!!! As I said before, my main focus was to improve Math, but through the program, my English score automatically went up too! Lately, I've been consistently getting perfect scores on the Math section on the practice tests. I think the biggest reason for this improvement was completing Prep Expert's Hard Math Quizzes for homework before every class. These are compilations of the hardest SAT Math questions, and they really helped me get better at the hard questions that I struggled with. I will be taking the SAT later this month and due to the help from Prep Expert, I hope that it will be my last time taking it, hopefully scoring at least a 1550! Thank you to all the people behind this program and a BIG BIG thank you to my amazing instructor Ilia!!!

I loved the 8 week class so much that I already recommended prep expert to a friend!! He is actually the best teacher I've ever had. This might have been the most enjoyable class I've ever been in, not going to lie. GET THIS MAN A RAISE. Ilia is such an absolute wonderful person to spend 6 hours of my weekend with. Miguel was my instructor. What I liked about the course was how it had a platform with all the official material so you didn't need to go digging for it your own for it. I also liked how the homework assignments kept me in check in my process of improving my SAT score.

The information that I received from this class makes me much more confident for my next SAT. Miguel Chavira did a great at going over questions and at explaining his entire thought process, so that the right answer became more and obvious. What I liked most was how much we went over problems and how well those problems were gone over.
