He will be starting medical school at the Texas A&M College of Engineering Medicine this May, where he will complete his MD and Master of Engineering degrees. Avi is a current student-athlete at the University of Rochester, where he is double majoring in Biology and Business. He has previously tutored elementary, middle, and high school students. Heidi possesses a PhD in math and has taught university mathematics for 10 years. She is a seasoned and experienced math teacher who now tutors mathematics online for all ages and develops K-12 STEM programming for AmeriCorps. Heidi scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and is also highly competent in critical reading and writing, having received a combined 1570 out of 1600 in those two sections of the 2008 SAT.
