(1) Prep Expert 2016 New SAT Intro by Shaan Patel
The Prep Expert New SAT Intro Guide teaches students how to ace the 2016 New SAT. My favorite part of this book is that it teaches students how to study. Although studying is such a big part of higher education, most students are never taught how to study. In this book, I share many tips about how to study not only for the SAT, but also for all standardized exams.
(2) Prep Expert 2016 New SAT Essay by Shaan Patel
The Prep Expert New SAT Essay Guide teaches students how to ace the essay portion of the 2016 New SAT. My favorite part of this book is the CREW SAID strategy. CREW SAID stands for 8 argumentative tools that students can look for in essay passages. In addition, students loved the essay template I developed for the 2400 version of the SAT, so I have created a new essay template for the New SAT.
(3) Prep Expert 2016 New SAT Writing by Shaan Patel
The Prep Expert New SAT Writing Guide teaches students how to ace the writing portion of the 2016 New SAT. My favorite part of this book is the pronoun strategy. I have broken down pronoun errors into 5 types (singular-plural pronouns, lost pronouns, relative pronouns, subject vs. object pronouns, and ambiguous pronouns) so that students will be able to identify any pronoun grammar error on the New SAT Writing section.
(4) Prep Expert 2016 New SAT Reading by Shaan Patel
The Prep Expert New SAT Reading Guide teaches students how to ace the reading portion of the 2016 New SAT. My favorite part of this book is the BOSS strategy. BOSS stands for Build (Your) Own Simple Solution. This strategy improves comprehension, accuracy, and saves students time on the SAT Reading section. It is especially useful on “Command of Evidence” questions — a new question type on the 2016 New SAT.
(5) Prep Expert 2016 New SAT Math by Shaan Patel
The Prep Expert New SAT Math Guide teaches students how to ace the math portion of the 2016 New SAT. My favorite part of this book is the “Top 10 Most Common Hard SAT Math Questions” section. For this portion of the book, I examined every New SAT released and found common patterns among the hardest questions. I show students how to solve these questions easily. In addition, the formula cheat sheets at the end will be super helpful for students who want to make sure to memorize the most important information before test day.
